Use the highest error correction level (H — 30%) for asset tags that may get scuffed, dirty, or partially damaged.

Don't put PII or sensitive data directly in the QR — anyone can decode it. Encode an opaque ID and look up the data in your system.

Print on weatherproof labels for outdoor or industrial use. Standard inkjet on paper fails fast in dust and humidity.
