Overview

EZQR (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the ez-qr.com website and QR code generation service. By using EZQR, you agree to these terms.

Free tier

Static QR codes generated on the free tier are yours to use without restriction. They work forever, require no account, and carry no watermarks. We do not revoke, expire, or degrade free-tier QR codes.

Paid plans

Paid subscriptions (Pro, Business) are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

Your static QR codes continue to work permanently.
Dynamic QR codes remain active for 30 days after cancellation.
Analytics data is retained for 90 days after cancellation.
Showcase pages are taken offline at the end of the billing period.

Price lock guarantee

The subscription rate you sign up at is the rate you keep for the lifetime of your account. We do not increase prices on existing subscribers. New pricing only applies to new sign-ups.

Acceptable use

You may not use EZQR to:

Distribute malware, phishing links, or illegal content
Generate QR codes that redirect to harmful or deceptive destinations
Abuse the service through automated bulk creation beyond plan limits
Impersonate other individuals or organizations
Violate applicable laws in your jurisdiction

We reserve the right to disable QR codes that violate these terms. Static codes cannot be disabled since they don’t depend on our servers.

Intellectual property

QR codes you create are yours. You retain full ownership and may use them commercially without attribution. The EZQR brand, logo, and website design remain our property.

Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime for the QR code generation service and dynamic code redirects. Static QR codes function independently of our service availability. We provide no SLA on the free tier.

Limitation of liability

EZQR is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months preceding a claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Registered users will be notified by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
