What to include so we can answer in one reply
Most support threads take three messages because the first one is missing a detail. These are the ones we end up asking for.
- A code that stopped working
- Send the short URL printed on the code (the
ez-qr.com/r/...link), the phone and app you scanned with, and what you saw. A code that loads an “inactive” page is a billing state; a code that does nothing at all is usually a scan or print problem. The troubleshooting walkthrough separates the two in about a minute. - A print run that scanned badly
- Tell us the printed width of the code, the distance people scan from, and the surface. Most failures are a sizing or contrast problem rather than a code problem, and both are fixable before the next run.
- Billing, upgrades and cancellation
- Email from the address on the account. Worth knowing before you write: a lapsed subscription keeps your three oldest dynamic codes redirecting and pauses the rest. Nothing is deleted, and resubscribing restores every code with its original short URL, so printed material starts working again.
- Bulk and API
- Tell us roughly how many codes you need and whether they will be created manually, from CSV, or through an integration. The API reference covers what is possible on the Max plan.
Who you are writing to
EZQR is a small product team, built and operated by anyspace. Support is answered by the people who write the software, so a bug report lands with someone who can fix it rather than with a ticket queue.
We answer within one business day. There is no phone line and no live chat queue, which is a deliberate trade: email means whoever replies has already read your account and your codes before answering. Email support is on every plan, including free.
For data-processing requests, see the GDPR page and the data processing agreement. Security reports go to the same support address and are triaged first.
