Can I set a specific dollar amount?

Will I get PayPal's Goods & Services protection on a paypal.me QR payment?
Only when the recipient is a PayPal Business account or the sender explicitly tags the payment as Goods & Services in their PayPal app. Personal friends-and-family payments through paypal.me have no buyer or seller protection.
